Balance Consulting - PRINCE2 in the NHS

PRINCE2 into Practice in the NHS is a two-day course run on-site for up to 12 people.

The aim of the course is:- 

• To provide an introduction to PRINCE2 in an NHS context
• To save time and effort tailoring PRINCE2 for NHS projects
• To enable delegates to starting using PRINCE2 straightaway

A PRINCE2 Starter Pack is provided based on experience of what works best in the NHS.

Typical projects which people have brought to the course to work on are:-

• Modernising Audiology Services in Wales
• Redesigning Stroke Services in Inverclyde
• Health Improvement in Prisons in Gloucestershire
• Transfer of Services to a PCT in Walsall
• Site Redevelopment in Bradford
• Booked Admissions in Darlington.

Previous knowledge of PRINCE2 is not required. Some use the course as a refresher.

The course is run by Marion Thackwray of Balance Consulting, York. Marion has worked with PRINCE in the NHS since 1990. She is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and Approved Trainer. PRINCE2 into Practice in the NHS is an Accredited Training Product.
